About Leslie Park

Leslie Park, situated in College Ward within the city of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, is a suburban neighborhood located in the former city of Nepean.

Bounded by Baseline Road to the north, Greenbank Road to the east, and the OCRR to the south, the western boundary, as defined by the Leslie Park Community Association, extends along the fence west of Costello St. As of the Canada 2016 Census, the neighborhood's population, including the Valley Steam area, was recorded at 3,228.

Constructed between the 1960s and 1970s, with additional development in the mid-1980s, Leslie Park boasts distinctive features such as stone brick English-style townhouses along Monterey Drive. The 1970s saw the construction of more townhouses on Costello Avenue, along with a 17-unit condominium at 50 Greenbank. In the 1980s, homes on Sandcastle Drive and Valley Stream Drive, including two high-rise condominiums, were added. The early 2000s witnessed the development of additional townhouses west of Guthrie between Monterey and Baseline Road.

Notably, Leslie Park stands out for its abundance of century-old trees, making it one of the neighborhoods with the oldest trees in the area.

Leslie Park is home to two parks, namely Leslie Park and Brucelands Park, as well as two schools, Leslie Park Public School and St. John the Apostle Catholic School.
